How to Pack for College: a College Packing List
On average, dorm rooms are around 12’ x 19’. Split that space by two people and you don’t have much room for extra stuff. In most cases that means leaving things behind, and if you’re like me, choosing between the things you’ll bring with you and the things you’ll keep at home isn’t easy.

We mentioned a fun Military Appreciation-related contest coming up soon, and the time has arrived! Yesterday we launched the Military Appreciation Photo Contest on U-Pack’s Facebook page!
Just submit a snapshot of yourself with your favorite military service member (in uniform), and once it’s approved, Facebookers can vote on the pic they like best. The photo with the most “likes,” when May 31st at 12:00 PM rolls around, wins. So get all of your friends and family to vote!

It’s Flashback Friday! Each week we take a look back at posts that readers have found helpful in the past. Here at U-Pack, we want to raise awareness about the month and recognize service members, veterans and their families. Thank you. Thank you for your service, your sacrifice and your commitment – it does not go unnoticed.

These are, by far, the most popular months of the year for moving. But they’re also popular for something else – storage – more specifically, portable storage.
