Moving Day with Kids
One thing is certain about moving day: there’s a lot going on. While keeping your kids involved in the moving process is very important to an easy transition, this is probably the day that you don’t want them involved. When things like moving trucks, ramps, heavy boxes, heavy furniture and large appliances are involved, it’s best to keep children away. We recommend having a plan ready for the day. Who enjoys paying tons of money for hotel stays? No one I know (including me). If you’re moving across the country, chances are you’ll have to spend at least one night in a hotel along the way. Those costs can really add up if you’re not careful. Don’t get me wrong, there’s definitely a fine line between hotels that feel “cheap” and those that offer cheap prices.
