When to start packing for a move
Wondering how you’re going to pack all of your belongings? A common option is to do the work yourself. Not only is it a great way to save money on your move, it also lets you make sure everything is packed exactly as you want it (even if it does involve some elbow grease). Depending on the size of your home and how much of the work you do yourself, it can take anywhere from 1-7 days to pack (assuming you spend the majority of the day packing). Knowing how much time you need to pack, and learning how to pack your house like a pro, will make the process much easier to manage.
