It’s a solution that’s much more convenient than moving into a traditional storage facility. Let’s take a look at how it works, what your options are, and how much it costs.

What is residential freight shipping?

Moving in the Winter

December 5th, 2014 - 4:06 PM

Oh the weather outside is frightful…

And moving in the winter can be far from delightful. There are a handful of reasons people choose to bundle up and move their belongings in cold, snowy conditions—and lower moving rates is the big one. Winter is considered an “off-peak” moving season, which means when the temps start dropping outside, fewer people move, and so the price to move drops, too. It’s a benefit that makes the thought of a winter move a little more bearable.

Do I need a passport to move to Mexico?

December 3rd, 2014 - 8:00 AM

Important note: Effective April 28, 2015, U-Pack has discontinued service to and from Mexico.

Is a passport required for U.S. citizens to move to Mexico?

Yes. According to the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs, U.S. citizens (including children) must present a valid US passport book or card to enter Mexico – whether moving there or just visiting. If you enter Mexico by air, a passport book is required. If you enter Mexico by land or sea, you can use a passport book or passport card.
