The “You Pack, They Drive” Service

I think everyone knows what a full-service mover and a rental truck is and how they work - common knowledge for most. But, there’s a fairly new moving phenomenon out there called a “You Pack, They Drive” service (which happens to be what ABF U-Pack Moving is).

The name of the service is a pretty good description of how it actually works. The company provides the driver and the equipment and the customer does the packing and loading. With U-Pack in particular, we bring either a Trailer or a ReloCube to your home, you load your stuff, we pick it up and drive it to your new home where you unload it. It’s less expensive than a full service move and you avoid the hassle of driving a rental truck.

There are several “You Pack, We Drive” type services out there now, so if you’re a “do-it-yourself” type person, it might be a good option for you.
