When you call U-Pack, you’ll talk to someone in Fort Smith, Arkansas who specializes in long-distance moving. They do it all — making sure you get a great price, customizing your move to meet every need, and problem solving when changes are made.
We organize our team into two main departments: the initial quoting and reservation team, and the moving process team (which we call Operations).
- The quoting and reservation team will be the one to take your call if you don’t yet have a quote or if you haven’t reserved a move. They can answer questions about the U-Pack moving process, explain equipment and service options, and help provide the best price possible.
- Once you’ve reserved, you’ll talk to the moving process team. They can help reschedule a move date, make changes to the service, order moving boxes, or confirm any details. This team also responds to customers on social media.

Frequently asked questions about moving consultants
When are moving consultants available?
U-Pack is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. CST Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. U-Pack is closed on major holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Year’s Day).
Will I ever need to talk to someone else?
While the U-Pack team handles most aspects of your move, you will have to contact the local service centers to arrange for equipment drop-off and pick-up. This is because each service center schedules their own daily routes. And if you need moving help, you will be transferred to Moving Staffers to coordinate that.
