U-Pack Works with Safe Kids Savannah for Child Safety Fundraiser Preventing accidental childhood injuries is the top priority of Safe Kids Worldwide. U-Pack Moving is teaming with Safe Kids Savannah, a local Safe Kids coalition in Georgia, to store donated goods that will be sold in a community-wide sale to raise funds for kid safety awareness projects. Fort Smith, Ark. — It may come as no surprise that most kids are accident-prone. However, many people aren't aware that accidental injuries are the number one cause of death among children in the United States. Safe Kids Savannah is one of over 600 Safe Kids Worldwide alliances in the nation whose purpose is to educate families on accident prevention and child safety, and U-Pack Moving is honored to be a part of their annual fundraiser for kid safety awareness efforts. Safe Kids Savannah will collect goods donated by area citizens that will eventually be sold to raise funds for child safety programs. U-Pack Moving has supplied ReloCubes to safely store the household items during the collection period. U-Pack's portable storage containers will house the gently-used goods (such as clothing and furniture) until the day of the sale. On March 19th, Safe Kids Savannah will conduct the giant yard sale from 8:00 AM-12:00PM at Lake Mayer. The money generated from the sale provides Safe Kids Savannah with the resources needed to keep producing child safety literature and events.
