Welcome! ABF U-Pack Moving is ringing in the New Year by joining the blogosphere. We invite you to make the most of the information our moving experts provide, and the experiences your fellow "movers" have to share - so ask moving questions, give feedback, add your moving tips. Join us!

If you've searched the term "moving companies" recently, I'm certain you found pages and pages of information and options. Yikes! Almost overwhelming! It's hard to know where to start or who to trust when you begin the quest to find the right moving company for your needs. We're here to provide answers to your moving questions and our goal is to provide enough information to allow you to make an educated decision – understanding that you want to do what is best for you and your family.

If you have moving questions that you don't see answered in a current or archived post, feel free to submit one in the "Ask the Experts" section. We'll do our best to answer your moving questions quickly – if we don't know the answer, we'll at least try to get you pointed in the right direction.

I used ABF to move from Tx to IL about a year ago and I was so pleased with their service that I am using them again to move back. They were on time dropping off the trailer and early getting it to our destination. The drivers were professional and friendly. I would use them again if the occasion ever arises.

HI!! I AM MOVING BACK TO ARKANSAS THE FIRST WEEK OF APRIL FROM MAINE. I TRIED TO GET A FREE QUOTE BUT COULD NOT FOR SOME REASON. I FILLED OUT THE FORM AND CLICKED THE BUTTON BUT NOTHING EVER HAPPENED??? IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG ON THE SITE?? I NEED A QUOTE JUST SO I CAN MAKE A DECISION ON WHETHER TO USE ABF OR NOT?? I WOULD LIKE TO USE A COMPANY FROM MY HOME STATE. PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO GET THE INFO WITHOUT HAVING TO CALL THEM??

There are times when a moving quote request needs to come through to an analyst to review and quote rather than getting a moving quote generated by our system. There are a variety of reasons this might happen. Depending on when you submitted your quote, you should get a request back fairly quickly (we’re closed from 4 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Monday).
If you still don’t have a moving quote response in your e-mail inbox this morning, you might look in your junk mail folder. If you still are not able to retrieve the moving quote, please let me know.

I have been getting quotes from alot of different moving companies, alot of them are on a "Scam Alert" for moving companies. I have seen the ABF U-Pack Cubes in our apartment complex before and decided to get a quote. I am very pleased with my quote and I feel this is a well known company with an excellent track record. My mind is at ease over the move to AZ from MI now. One less thing to worry about. Thank you so much UPack.

Are there standard transit times from pick up to delivery? City to City?

Transit times vary depending on the cities that you are moving from and to. U-Pack’s quote will give you an estimated transit and in many cases we have Guaranteed Service options. If you want a general idea for transit times to different cities you can use our Estimated Transit Calculator.

I would recommend the relocube to anybody who has to travel long distance. Not only was it less expensive, but it saved me from having to drive a big truck or hauling a trailer through the snowy mountains. Thank you ABF for the convenience of door to door service and saving me almost $2,000!

Our best advise - find another company to move you! No matter how much money you think you might save, it isn’t worth it!
We used ABF to move our accumulated family goods from GA to CO.
OVER 85% OF OUR FURNITURE WAS DAMAGED!
We packed all of our boxes, and even though may were crushed, there was no damage.
OUR SETTLEMENT WAS OVER $15,000 LESS THAN THE EXPERT WE PAID TO VALUE REPAIR/REPLACEMENT!
MY RECOMMENDATION WOULD BE TO NEVER TAKE THE CHANCE TO USE ABF.

Over 85% of our furniture was damaged, which we paid to have ABF U-PACK pack for us since we are elderly.
That means 43 out of 50 pieces of furniture.
The boxes we packed, many fragile and clearly marked where crushed, but since we packed them there was minimal damage.
We couldn’t unpack due to the extent of the damage for over 90 days!
The resolution was no where near what our expert quoted. So that leaves us with continued torment of arbitration or possibly court on gross negligence.
