The ReloCube is ideal for moving from a storage facility, apartment, or residential neighborhood with limited parking. It’s a small, weatherproof metal container that typically holds the furnishings of a studio-size apartment—with a weight limit of 2,500 lbs. You can reserve as many as you think you need and only pay for the ones you actually use. The ReloCube can be shipped from state to state within the continental U.S. or to/from Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
The Moving Trailer is one of the most popular ways to ship household goods cross-country and overseas to Alaska and Puerto Rico. It’s 28 ft. long and has a loading capacity of about 2,000 cubic feet. And if that seems too large for your shipment—no problem. You pay based on the linear footage your shipment occupies inside. This makes the moving trailer ideal for both large and small shipments. The trailer can also be shipped from state to state within the Contiguous U.S., to and from Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico, and to Mexico.

The Ocean Container is specifically made for moves to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico. It’s 40 ft. long and can hold up to 44,000 lbs. These shipping containers are best for three-bedroom homes or larger. In contrast to the moving trailer – where price is based on linear footage – the ocean shipping containers are priced per container. If you’re moving to or from one of these locations, call 800-413-4799 for an instant quote (or we’ll email a quote within 24 hours).
How long does it take to ship the container with U-Pack?
For moves within the Contiguous U.S., U-Pack averages transit times of 2-5 business days (your U-Pack quote will reflect your estimated transit time). And, if you need to know the exact day of arrival, we offer the option of adding U-Pack Guaranteed.
