Military Appreciation Month

In honor of Military Appreciation Month in May, we wanted to find ways to show our appreciation to soldiers serving overseas and those who are back home. We came across an organization called A Million Thanks and were so incredibly impressed by this young lady who took it upon herself to make sure the troops are given a proper thank you, that we wanted to take part in her effort.

So, through the month of May, the employees of ABF Freight System, Inc. along with several area schools took part in a post card campaign to write words of thanks and encouragement to our troops. We were able to collect over 2,000 cards that were sent to soldiers serving across the world and in the U.S.

Our hope is that as soldiers read these cards they'll get some sense of how grateful the employees of ABF and the Fort Smith community are for their commitment, sacrifice and service to our great country.
