On Time. Every time. Guaranteed. Your U-Pack moving quote comes with a price that is based on an estimated transit time. U-Pack estimates transit times using real numbers for completed moves, so it's likely that your items will arrive at your destination within the estimated time. However, there is always a possibility that the transit time could vary. Normally when this happens it's due to factors like a large number of shipments moving at the same time and in the same direction. Keep in mind that your trailer or ReloCube can be tracked 24 hours a day using your ABF Tracking Number (sometimes called your Freight Bill number). If you're curious…check the estimated transit time for your move. Transit time begins the business day after pick up and does not include weekends or holidays. For many customers an estimated transit time works great because they have a little bit of flexibility- either because they're taking time to drive across country and using their move as a mini-vacation ("Hey kids look…it's the World's Largest Ball of Twine!"), the house closing is taking longer than expected, or they're able to make other arrangements if it takes a day or two more . There are other customers who don't have the luxury of flexibility - they need to schedule specific events around the arrival of their shipment and if it arrives later than expected, it would put them in a bind…these customers opt for a Guaranteed Transit Time. The U-Pack Guaranteed Transit comes with a 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee, which entitles the customer to compensation if the shipment cannot be delivered on the pre-arranged date, due to some fault of ABF. Guaranteed Transit is perfect for people who need to schedule things like flight plans or unloading help. It is also useful if you need to get a parking permit in your destination city or if you just need the convenience of a Friday delivery to have the weekend to unload. Guaranteed Transit costs a little more than estimated transit but for good reason. It prioritizes or expedites your shipment – making certain that it arrives when you need it. With this service you have the ability to arrange all of your plans and you can rest easy knowing that if we don't meet our obligations, you are entitled to a refund. If your U-Pack shipment with estimated transit runs a little slow, you will still be able to track your shipment and plan accordingly, but without the 100% delivery date guarantee. Make sure to ask your U-Pack representative if you have any questions or concerns about transit time or the date your shipment will arrive at the destination. They'll be happy to give you a rate for both Guaranteed Transit and Estimated Transit. |
