Need a Hand?

No matter the reason, there may be times in life when doing your own packing and loading is not an option. The self-move service price may look great, but doing the physical part of the move doesn't. Do you throw in the towel and go with a full service mover?  Sure they do it all – the packing, loading and driving - but what about the price? The cost of a full service mover can put a serious hurt on your pocket book - it might even hurt worse than the pain you've already got in your back. So what do you do? 

Local Loading and Unloading Assistance

Go ahead and go for the self-move service and hire local loading and unloading assistance!  It's usually less expensive to pair a self-move service with local labor than it is to hire a full service mover. And it's easy.  Are you already packed and just need someone to load and unload?  Do you have family and friends that will help you load but you are moving to a new city where you know absolutely no one and need help unloading?  Maybe you just need someone for a couple hours to help you load the heavy things. These are all different ways that you can get the service you require and still only pay for the space you need. 

Where do I find extra hands?

Have you ever heard the phrase "Let you fingers do the walking"?  A great way to find local loading and unloading assistance is through the yellow pages.  Local movers will often come and help you load for either a flat rate or an hourly fee.  This way you get the professional packing and loading that you need but can still save on the transportation costs by using ABF U-Pack. I recommend that you check references beforehand.  It's a good idea to look them up at the Better Business Bureau, movingscam.com or epinions.com.
