As the housing and real estate market continues to get more competitive, one the most important steps you'll need to take when selling or buying a home is finding a good realtor. A ’good' realtor will be able to help guide you through the difficult and sometimes tedious real estate world while keeping your best interest in mind.
Although there are a wide variety of venues for checking out the listings in your area, an experienced realtor can be the most valuable resources at your disposal. Realtors are often the first to know about new listings and may have access to market information that is not available to the public. By finding a good realtor, you'll have an advocate that's willing to listen to your needs and will act according to what will best fit your financial situation. 

So how do you go about finding a good realtor? Start with referrals! The listings under a certain agent can also provide insight on their business sense. Just remember to schedule a face-to-face meeting with a realtor that you've found online before making a decision!
