Can I use U-Haul Coupons with U-Pack?
The short answer is ’not quite'. The good news is that moving with U-Pack can actually cost less than driving a rental truck— so there's no need to hunt down a U-Haul coupon.

U-Haul coupons can make a rental truck sound like a pretty good deal. It's important to remember, though, the extra costs that you may not consider when deciding on a moving company. Usually called ’soft costs', things like fuel, meals, hotel stays, and road tolls are all expenses that will take a chunk out of your moving budget. 

When you get a moving quote from U-Pack, you'll find that the fuel, taxes, road tolls, and driver are already included in the quoted price— and U-Pack takes care of the driving. That's a big deal when you consider the fuel cost alone: most rental trucks average 6 to 10 miles per gallon, pushing the gas cost to at least $600 for a 1,500 mile move at current gas prices. It's also important to remember that the maximum speed for a rental truck tops out at 55 MPH, or slower if you're towing a vehicle. This results in a longer travel time, meaning extra hotel stays and additional meals. By letting U-Pack do the driving, you'll be able to travel in the comfort of your own (much more fuel-efficient) car, at a reasonable speed that allows for a timely arrival at your new home.
