This morning I read a Forbes article on Yahoo! Finance that focused on College Degrees with the highest starting salaries. While I’m far removed from college (I’ll be attending my 20-year high school reunion this year!), this is something I’m very interested these days. My awesome, smart, talented nephew is graduating from High School in May, and he’s in the grueling process of deciding what school he’ll call home... Baylor or the University of Oklahoma (though I pushed for the University of Arkansas early on. Go Hogs!)

At the same time, I’m acutely aware that across the nation graduating seniors and their parents (and maybe even some college freshmen and sophomores) are trying to figure out what they’ll do with the rest of their lives, and where they’ll live while they’re doing it. This is also the time of year where we begin getting calls and emails from students and parents who are planning college moves. What an exciting time!

For those of you who are trying to decide what to do with your life, here is a run-down of research presented by Forbes that may help you make a decision. It’s also a good idea to do some career aptitude tests to see where you’re strengths lie. Funeducation.com and careerpath.com are good online options.
